Our Palm Sunday procession this year started off at the field in Magda Street and was led by the Church Lad and Girls Brigade, with Rev. Reeva and Fr. Basil leading those marching in worship and prayer. It was a joyous occasion with congregants young and old singing Hosanna and praising the name of Christ…
Can you believe that we’re already halfway through Lent? This means that we get to take a much-needed break from our fasting to celebrate all the motherly figures in our lives.
Our annual Sunday School Picnic took place on 25 February, at The Farmyard Christian Recreation Park. The children along with their parents had a day with laughter, snacks and plenty of extraordinary amounts of fun in the pool. It will be a day we will remember for years to come.

On 19 March 2017, our annual parish vestry meeting took place. Through a general meeting that included the reading out of the church’s financial statements, the churchwarden and rector’s reports, as well as the elections of the new leadership of the church for 2017.

On 16 February, Patricia Gordon, a member of St. Cyprian’s was ordained into the diaconate at her home parish by Bishop Garth Counsell.

Confirmation stream 2 (C2) candidates decided to put their fitness to the test on a hike on 26 February. Three facilitators and two volunteers accompanied twenty C2 candidates on a beautiful hike from Constantia Nek to Kirstenbosch Gardens.
